More record-breaking results at Southend High School for Girls!
Students at Southend High School for Girls celebrated their best ever GCSE results today. Headteacher, Jason Carey said, ‘We are absolutely delighted with these results. Last week we celebrated SHSG’s best A Level results, and now our Year 11s have matched Year 13’s outstanding success.’
Headteacher, Jason Carey added, ‘A third of all grades were grade 9, which is a remarkable achievement, and over half of all grades were grades 9 and 8. Our young people have been such a fantastic year group. Well done! I would like to thank all the teaching and support staff as well – they prepared and supported students brilliantly!’
